Twist-ing emerged from experiencing two broken ankle ligaments and the unexpected movements that followed. A short dance piece about what the body discovers when it can't move the way it wants to—how irony and lightness can transform unfortunate experiences, and how creativity flourishes through limitation. The piece moves between desire and absence, memory and the present moment, celebrating the body's incredible resilience as it continues to heal even when thoughts grow heavy.

Thank you to Tanz Graz and Margret Hausegger for organising and promoting the Open Stage event. This is a wonderful opportunity for artists to share their work in a short format and for the Graz Dance Scene to get to know one another.
