Durational Participatory Solo Project
Solo project, winner of the Award for Service to empower Women, by Province of Styria Ministry of Culture We live in a world based on a patriarchal perspective, where hierarchy, violence and competition cage our lives in a spiral of death. Imposing moral rules in favour of the few in power, our versatile and rich nature is suppressed, creating more dissatisfaction and hate. This truth has been established for centuries, and unconsciously or not, we adapt to this reality, even though different kinds of abuse and violence continue to characterise women's and men's existence. Peaches Grow Wild Along a Scenic Route is an interdisciplinary, partially participatory journey that unfolds and juxtaposes strong images, words, kinaesthetic experiences and sound to offer a place for reflection and empathy.
