In spring 2020, living conditions around the world changed abruptly. Most people were hit hard by the drastic changes and with them came fear. Human nature and vulnerability unexpectedly took center stage in society. During the concerts from balcony to balcony, the two musicians Claus Boesser - Ferrari and Jutta Glaser improvised to an old German folk song “Es geht ein dunkle Wolk herein”. Intense, percussive, sonorous sessions that fascinated the audience. The idea was born to turn it into a theater-dance concert, an intuitive exploration of the shocks, vulnerability and helplessness of these months. Jadi Carboni, dancer and choreographer from Graz, deals with the effects of fear, ignorance and latent violence. The actor Nils Kretschmer performs an unfinished story by Frank Kafka. DER BAU, written in 1923/24 shortly before his death, is the record of a world in which the turmoil between existential fear and the attempt to create security is told in an intense and intimate way.
